Xmas Party Outfit Blogger £100 Challenge

To celebrate the start of the festive season, fashionvouchers.com have launched a fashion blogger challenge to find the best Christmas party outfits for £100 and under. There are three £100 fashion vouchers for the three best outfits, and each entrant needs to pick one merchant from the list of all the merchants on FashionVouchers.com, to create their outfit from. Click here for the deets. Below is my entry and I used Asos.com. My outfit adds up to £98.49

  4. you know you're basically promoting fashion vouchers and brands you've featured for free in return for the CHANCE to win something?! that's creating free advertisement and buzz for TWO brands for most likely fuck all in return. i wouldn't recommend participating in these competitions. it's a dirty, cheap way for brands to create free buzz/advertisement because they think us bloggers stupid.

    1. Hi,

      Firstly, you are advertising any brand simply by purchasing their clothes and wearing them regardless of having a blog. So unless your boycotting brands all together and refuse to tell anyone where anything you've purchased is from, you don't really have a leg to stand on.

      Secondly, I don't really care about getting anything in return, I feature items of clothing here all the time, my blog is simply about clothing.

      Thirdly, what's wrong with telling people about fashion vouchers if they save money? After all, my blog is about affording clothes on a budget. I think the idea of an affordable outfit for the xmas season is a good one.

      Finally, if it offends you, simply refuse to do it on your own blog rather than preaching others and patronising me by saying I'm "stupid" in so many words for going along with the competition.
